The Carbon Cycle
Carbon Cycles:
Carbon can travel from the atmosphere into many place such as plants like grass. At this point in time, the carbon dioxide is either released back into the atmosphere or if the plant dies, it is put into the soil. Even after this, the carbon dioxide will return to the atmosphere. At other places like the surface of the ocean, the carbon dioxide can remain and go back into the atmosphere or go into the deep ocean and marine life. If the carbon dioxide goes into the marine life, it goes into plant like organisms where it goes through photosynthesis and other transformations. If the carbon dioxide delves into the deep ocean, then it circulates and can stay there long periods of time. From this point, in one way or another, Carbon Dioxide returns to the atmosphere and continues to revolve in the cycle. It does not matter which way it flows, carbon dioxide goes everywhere.

Oceans Frozen 900 Ft. Global Warming You Say?
Over the last several years, biologists have been trying to figure out the chemical compositions of the primeval Earth (ancient Earth), as well as, when organic matter began to take control and produce life. When the Earth was first created, it was a...

Ocean Acidification
Ocean Acidification is when more carbon dioxide enters the ocean. These extra amounts of carbon dioxide make the ocean more acidic. This makes it harder for animals with shells, such as oysters, to form their shells. Their shells are fragile and the shells...

Calvin Cycle
The Calvin cycle is also known as the light independent reactions, as they can occur in the dark. It occurs inside the stroma of the chloroplasts. There are three stages: carbon dioxide fixation, reduction of carbon dioxide, and regeneration of ribulose...

Answers To Carbon And Nitrogen Cycle Questions
Cutting down the trees would reduce the amount of photosynthesis and therefore, increase the level of carbon dioxide. This would be further increased if the tress were then burnt. Replantation is important in order to try and keep a constant level of...

Carbon Cycle
1. Carbon will go from the atmosphere to the plants who use it in their process for creating energy Photosynthesis. 2.Carbon will go from a plant to an animal when the animal eats the plant for energy. 3. Carbon will go from plankton in the sea and it...
