Summary:

When gama rays hit your cells it takes the electrons from the water in your nucleus and little molecules try to take your dna's electrons. The DNA seems to stay broken and is passed down to the children broken like this. It didn't seem like the children were getting the defects of their parents because of their exposure from the gamma rays. There is a gene that can get rid of broken strands and replace the other side and if there is a section missing it causes the cell to commit suicide so it doesn't spread its cancerous DNA.

- Q: Describe Semi-conservative Replication
A segment of DNA is unwound by helicase. H-bonds between both strands are broken. Primers are laid down by primase in the 5' to 3' direction. DNA polymerase III adds complementary free nucleotides to 3' growing end....

- Polymerase Chain Reaction (pcr)
There are three stages to PCR: denaturation, heating, and extension. In the first stage, denaturation, the reaction tube in the thermal cycler is heated to 95 degrees Celsius. The high heat denatures DNA by breaking the hydrogen bonds; the double helix...

- Dna Replication
DNA Replication?DNA can copy its self over and over again in order to keep creating for the organism it is working for. This action is called DNA replication and takes place in the cell nucleus.  How does DNA replication work? The molecules of DNA...

- # 34 Dna Structurer And Replication
DNA molecule consists of nucleotides in which the sugar component is deoxyribose whereas the RNA molecule has nucleotides in which the sugar is a ribose. Nucleotides Roles: are monomers for nucleic acid polymers, such as DNA and RNA....

- Tomography, Tomograph, Tomogram
Term: tomography Literally meaning: ?the process of writing the slices? Origin: Anc Greek????/tome(=section, slice, trunk, stalk) >?????/temno(=cut)  -??????/graphia(=-graphy, a combining form denoting  something written or represented as...
