Cells are categorized into two groups, Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic. The two cells are similar in some ways , but also they are different in others. One way they are similar is that they both have DNA which is kinda of like the code of the computer ?cell? . They also have plasma based membranes which hold all of the things in the cell together. The Membrane is in both made up of polysaccharides and proteins. Even though they are in different categories they both have the same simple metabolism, as well as being found in found a lot of diverse forms.
The differences are however that a Prokaryote is a cell that has no nucleus but does have Dna to control it , while the Eukaryote has a Nucleus and Dna in it to Control the Cell. The Eukaryote has Membrane-bound organelles while the Eukaryote has no Membrane-Bound organelles. A Eukaryotic Cell is also much bigger in size than a Prokaryote cell. The way Prokaryotic cells reproduce is through Binary fission, but the Eukaryotic cell goes through mitosis.
