Coined/History
Pythagoras (circa 582-500 BC) the Greek mathematician and mystic  is said to have been the first to use this word with the meaning of ?universe? which was formed by the harmonies of the Limited and the Indefinite, Form and Matter. Later the ?cosmos? meaning was extended to the whole physical world which was considered as an ordered whole.
