The first recorded use of the term, in reference to the prepuce, was the Roman author Aulus Cornelius Celsus (1st cen BC) The  Greek physician and surgeon Antyllus (2nd cen AD) had defined phimosis as the result of growth of an inelastic scar tissue and he called it ?adherence?.  

Definition
1.     Phimosis is the state of penis foreskin (prepuce) when it can?t be fully retracted over the glans.
2.     Phimosi is any stricture of a variety of body parts
