Homework- Cystic Fibrosis


Cystic fibrosis is a disease which is genetically inherited. It causes too much mucus to build up in the lungs and pancreatic duct, causing problems with lungs and the digestive system. Both genes are needed to have the disease and so a person with one gene which is healthy and the other carrying the disease, will be healthy themselves, but will be a carrier for the disease. If The healthy gene is represented by C and the cystic fibrosis gene represented by c. Show, neatly with labels a cross diagram for a man and a women who are both carries for the disease.
